Tempted, Misled, Slaughtered:
The Short Life of Hitler Youth, Paul B.

Through photographs, documents and ephemera, this exhibit depicts how the Nazi state seduced an entire generation of German youth. The exhibit examines the devastating impact of the nazification of Germany’s youth, focusing on the experiences of Paul Bayer, and demonstrates how totalitarian governments strip away basic human rights and use all of their citizens for their own agenda.

Family Ties

It's not too late to get involved with Family Ties, Hillel JUC's new program that matches students with Jewish families in the Pittsburgh area. Families can provide for a welcoming place to celebrate holidays; a connection to the Jewish Community of Pittsburgh; or simply a place to hang out, have fun, enjoy a home-cooked meal -- just a home away from home. One participating student says, “It’s heartwarming to know that if I ever need anything my ‘family’ is just a phone call away. Without Family Ties I wouldn’t feel as connected with the Pittsburgh Community as I do now.” We have several families that are anxiously awaiting their student match. If you're interested in participating in such a rewarding program, and enjoying the perks of finding your home away from home, please fill out the student application at this site:
