The Hillel JUC in Pittsburgh is particpating in a national contest sponsered by Great Non Profits and individuals who believe in the value of providing a needed information source for nonprofits, volunteers and donors.
The contest centers around each nonprofit organization gathering reviews of all kinds. The organization with the most reviews wins national media exposure, and the attention of numerous national grant organizations for funding.

Rabbi Mordecai Schwartz, born in Louisville, Kentucky, and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, currently serves as the director of Admissions for The Rabbinical School of The Jewish Theological Seminary.

Spoken Word Poet, Vanessa Hidary, chronicles her life as a New York Jewish teen coming of age during the Golden Age of Hip-Hop, and her dedication to fostering the understanding and friendship between people of all races. Her candid story is told with humor, and will remind any audience member of their own youthful journey through insecurities, love-gone-awry, and struggles with identity. FREE with a student ID!

Yehuda Yaakov, Iran Expert in the Foreign Ministry of the Israel Government

Yehuda Yaakov is currently responsible for special projects in the strategic affairs division of the foreign ministry. He served as department director for non-proliferation and counterterrorism in the strategic affairs division, after establishing and running the counterterrorism desk.
Panthers for Israel presents Zion Uness. Uness was born in Ethiopia, and immigrated to Israel at the age of seven. He served in the infantry unit of the IDF, and attended the University of Haifa. He has worked to improve Ethiopian-Israeli education and community life. Zion will be speaking about Operation Moses, his journey, and the story of the Ethiopian Israelis.
