Pitt Hillel Endorses Aster Teclay for Homecoming Queen and Lance Bonner for Homecoming King. Aster is a senior who is involved with BAS, Academic Affairs, and her charity project involves building playgrounds for children. Lance is a senior who is involved with Student Government Board, Phi Delta Theta, and Pitt Pride organizations and his service project involves raising money for the American Cancer Society.
Voting begins online (in your Pitt Portral) at noon on Oct. 22 and ends at noon on October 23.

Yehuda Yaakov is currently responsible for special projects in the strategic affairs division of the foreign ministry. He served as department director for non-proliferation and counterterrorism in the strategic affairs division, after establishing and running the counterterrorism desk.
The Pittsburgh Conference on Soviet Jewry
presents “Refusenik” SouthSide Works Cinema, Tuesday, October 20 @ 7 p.m.

“Refusenik” is the first retrospective documentary to chronicle the thirty-year movement to free Soviet Jews. It shows how a small grassroots effort bold enough to take on a Cold War superpower blossomed into an international human rights campaign that engaged the disempowered and world leaders alike.
