WELCOME TO THE 'BURGH, GLAD YOU'RE HERE

We would like to introduce ourselves and the Ha'Milah to the students who are new to town, and say 'what up' to all the returning students.   We are the staff of the Hillel Jewish University Center.  The building is located at 4607 Forbes Ave. (corner of Forbes & Craig).  Please stop by to say hi and check out all the building has to offer, including some of our new additions, including a  renovated kosher kitchen, new video games, and a cool mural on the 2nd floor. You can also find out loads of information on our web-site www.hilleljuc.org.

The Ha'Milah is Hillel's week e-mail bulletin.  It includes updates about weekly events at Hillel and around town, as well as upcoming programs.  Check out what is happening over the next few weeks with the calendar link below.

We are excited that you are here and are looking forward to working with you this year.

Green Tip from the Hillel JUC

Recycle everything, especially paper! Think about how many pieces of paper you go through in a semester. There are class notes, your scrap copies, your term papers, your daily school newspapers, and assorted stuff that you've printed out from the Internet... it all adds up. Look for a paper recycle bin on campus-- you might find one near a dormitory or large classroom building.  Try to double side copies when you can.  You can also use the blank back side for scratch paper.  In addition, you can recycle other items as well, including cans, bottles, and cardboard boxes, etc.    Think Green!
