    The ten day stretch from Rosh Hashanah to Yom Kippur has begun. Hundreds of students came together for Rosh Hashana dinner and services at The Hillel JUC this past weekend, and we anticipate even more for Yom Kippur. Come explore the evolution of Israeli music since 1948 and its connections to Israel's multicultural population.     Wednesday, September 27th As part of University of Pittsburgh's International Week 2006, Panthers for Israel present the year's first iMovie, Turn Left at the End of the World. Charming, sexy, and comical, this 2004 hit film takes us back to 1969, when two Jewish immigrant families – one Indian, the other Moroccan – become unlikely neighbors in the middle of the Israeli desert. Through cultural differences, the families' teenage daughters negotiate the landscape of the sexual revolution and explore new friendships and possibilities. 8:30pm @ Cathedral of Learning G-24.     Winter in Israel for ONLY $180 - Choose Your Track!

    Hillel International is delighted to offer its premier Winter Israel Experiences this December and January. This season Hillel is sending three exciting tracks, and each one will last approximately 10 days and cost $180 per student. While requirements for each track vary, all participants must have had prior Israel experience.

    The track dates are:
    Jewish Pluralism and Peoplehood: December 26th-January 4th
    Green: Israel and Global Environmentalism: December 25th-January 3rd
    Leading Up North - Tzedek (Social Justice): December 25th-January 4th or January 1st-11th
