Student Program Review

The Hillel JUC rang in the new year with
enthusiastic new student boards, a plethora of
engagement activities, and lots of Israel enthusiasm!
Over 20 students spent December break in Israel and
returned to campus eager to share their love for
Israel on campus. With an Israel themed Shabbat,
birthright Israel recruiting, new students on board
for Tartans and Panthers for Israel, and many
students studying and looking to study abroad in
Israel, Israel has made it onto the university map.

Student Program Preview

Beyond singing and Shabbat dinner, this month has a
variety of programs that are sure to intrigue all
types: The sisterhood group is bringing mental
and emotional health to the forefront while the
brotherhood guys play poker, Hebrew speakers
unite in "Hebreworld" casual conversation
while Jewish education attempts to explain the
"nuts and bolts of Judaism," and an 80's
party Jewish style will follow a spiritual
check-up Tu B'Shvat seder.
Meanwhile, students continue their fundraising
efforts to further support
programming and Shabbat dinners at the Hillel JUC.
Through these efforts, students will receive raffle
tickets for every $500
they raise. One lucky winner will be chosen at
Campus Superstar for a FREE TRIP to ISRAEL! Help a
student reach their goal by emailing Laura.
