Campus Superstar is an American Idol-like solo singing competition featuring Pittsburgh area college students. Over 150 students auditioned in the fall for 25 semi-finalist spots. From those 25, ten finalists were selected to compete in the Campus Superstar finals, where the winner received the top prize of $5000. Campus Superstar is a spectacular, professionally-produced show, where performers are accompanied by a full band, with all of the "glitz" that one would expect from a concert, Broadway show or... American Idol. See this years finalists.
